Course Content
We offer a 12 hour training that can be taught over four, three hour workshops or ten private lessons. The course is designed to be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of different persons and groups. Every workshop or lesson is complete in itself, and can be booked individually or as a package. The beginning of each one includes an informal presentation of useful resources and information with time for sharing. Each person receives an information pack. Predominately we explore the theme of the workshop in a variety of ways: sitting, laying, walking, and through yoga movement.
Yoga and Mindfulness 1: Journey into the Body and Breath.
The theme of this workshop is attuning to the body and its sensations, and watching the breath as an anchor into the moment.

Yoga and Mindfulness 2: “The Guest house”
In this workshop we use Rumi’s poem ‘The Guest house’ to explore the nature of thought and emotion.

Yoga and Mindfulness 3: What a Wonderful World
In Workshop 3 we take our mindfulness into relationship, the world, our daily life and work. We look at sustaining our practice, the ups, downs and challenges.

Yoga and Mindfulness 4: Yoga and Integration
This workshop is for those who have completed 1, 2 and 3 and would simply like to share a variety of mindfulness experiences and a little more on yoga. We have a half hour sharing to begin, an hour of yoga and then time to share a variety of mindfulness experience.
