E-Learning
E-Learning is a version of the Adult MHFA course which has been created for those who are unable to attend 12 hours of face to face training due to the constraints of travel, work or child care. A CD can be purchased which includes an overview of MHFA and mental health problems in Australia, detailed action plans which cover the 4 main topic areas (depression, anxiety, psychosis and substance use disorders). As well as videos, a quiz, interactive exercises, case studies, references and links.
In order to obtain a certificate, 3.5 hours of face to face interaction and practical exploration of the course material must be still be attended, this will include a short exam based on the contents of the e-learning CD.
Where e- learning is the best choice for you, your organization or workplace, you can order the e-learning CD directly through the FNC. Where necessary we can organize for an instructor to come to you or for you to attend the half day training at our centre in Mosman Park WA.
To receive your certificate you need to attend 1- 3.5hr session
